Debian Live: Feedback 'BOOT MYSTERY'

I hope someone can help. Been at this all day and it is late and I am a
bit bleeryeyed.
For no reason, my computer was working fine for ages, the windows 7
boot selection menu keeps coming up even though I only have one
operating system on here. Never did it before. At first the
notification came on too fast and I did not realize I had to press any
key. Then I did and it worked. After putting in the Windows 7 disk and
did a repair, then the boot choice black window with white letters comes
up with one choice for Win7, but it will stay there indefinably and not
just load windows automatically until I hit a key.
The first time it happened I opened up the tower and took out the cmos
battery and then lifted the memory out and put it back. It booted
regularly after that. But the next time I went to use it I had to kit a
key for window to start to load. I took out the cmos battery again and
disconnected and connected the memory but it did nothing.
I bought my system new in Italy in 2009
I have a 64 bit system but I use 32 bit windows because I like it
better and can use my old programs with it. It also speaks English,
which the installed 7 home did not and would not do.

I have tried:
- windows repair using win7Ult disk --- did nothing
- computer- properties - advanced setting . boot--- did nothing
- msconfig etc -- did nothing
- kapersky virus scan
- Avira virus scan
- super anit spyware
-Spybot-
- putting the value to zero so it would auto boot after 0 seconds
- EasyBCB 2.2 --- did nothing
- Your boot repair disk--- http://pastez.org/GHzkzZM (after the
slash I know is correct)
Still I get the boot choice window with one choice. The window will
stay up indefinitely and not boot unless I hit any key.
Something else that is odd, the password will not take the first time. I
know I enter it correctly-- the second try it does take.
I am an American living in Italy. I can not really speak Italian. I
have been reading about other people having this problem, but I don't
know if it is the same or if I got it the same way they did.
If you can tell me how to fix it I would appreciate it.
