UPDATE (August 15th, 2012)

I was thinking about this email and I thought that I should add a few
lines to bring it up to date.

Several good things have happened during these past months:

Daniel (as he stated in this thread) took charge of the German
translation and started work with some strings.

In respect to Brazilian Portuguese, Willer showed some interest in the
mailing list to translate it, even thought there is nothing settled
yet.

In respect to the Romanian translation, there is a team (Bogdan and
Victor) that have also started work to update and complete the
translation. Thank you very much guys, good job!

There is a new language added, Catalan. (This makes seven languages
altogether).

$ ls manual/po
ca de es fr it pt_BR ro

*scnr* (I mean the "ls" thing)

The Catalan translation is now 75% complete and will hit 100% by the
end of the summer. Possibly by the end of the month, but after it is
done, there is some proofreading to do.

The French translation also needs a thorough proofreading. Any takers?

Have a nice week!
