which I was aware of, so nevermind.
The manual is still primarily targetted at image builders, but it now
acknowledges that, offering end-users to skip to The Basics. I think a
user coming to learn how to write an image has very good chances now.

http://wiki.debian.org/DebianLive/Howto/USB was removed by Franklin
Piat, and I don't see any reason to restore it now.
