Bug#614328: live-build cannot create a live user

Package: live-build
Version: 2.0.12-2
Severity: important

I've created a live usb-hdd on squeeze, but the live user was not created.
If I boot this image I get this message:

live-config: hostname user-setupadduser: The GID 1000 is already in use.
usermod: user 'user' does not exist
 sudosudo: unknown user: user
