cdimage.d.o is actually very fast, but depending on your peering, it
might be slow for you.

you could try http://live.debian.net/archive/images/ as a alternative
location, maybe the peering there is better for you.

there are official torrents for the most popular images only, see:

  http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/squeeze_live_beta2/amd64/bt-hybrid/
  http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/squeeze_live_beta2/i386/bt-hybrid/

otherwise, any location is fine.. just make sure you compare the
checksums after download.
