Re: MPLS live CD

Thank You Guido,

I was not successful with debian-live and have read those links already. I am using Debian live-helper 1.0.2, that is part of lenny stable distro. But I can use any linux distro and latest version of live-helper if will help.

1) I need to build etch distribution. I afraid that deb packages would not be usable in lenny, that is chosen by default. I have some troubles with dependencies when installing it on debian lenny.
2) Debian etch expect some aufs modules externally supplied - if I understand it good, and they are not part of distribution

If You could create that mpls live CD, here are those mpls packages:

If You would be successful building MPLS Live CD, I will pay You for Your work. I need it as soon as possible, latest on 20. 5. 2010.

Hi Pali,
you can recreate it using the LiveCD script of the Debian project.

 - http://wiki.debian.org/DebianLive/Examples

At the deboostrap you can override the default kernel with a package made with a custom kernel.

quote:
 * If you have local debian packages (*.deb) which are not part of a repository, after running lh_config, copy them into        config/chroot_local-packages and they will be automatically installed into the live system when you run lh_build.

regards,
