when more than one kernel is installed, the first set should be vmlinuz1 and initrd1.img, not vmlinuz and initrd1.img.

could you please update the patch to reflect that?

The current patch will name the first set vmlinuz and initrd.img, not vmlinuz and initrd1.img.

out of curiosity, what was the error there?

The code responsible for extracting the uuid.conf from the initrd in lb_binary_disk does not support extracting from numbered initrds. I'll fix this in the future.
