Package: live-initramfs
Version: 1.236.2-1
Severity: normal
Hi,
the standart PATH environment variable should be:
$ echo $PATH
/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/games
In Debian live, /usr/local/bin and /usr/games are not present. In this
way, all games included into the CD image don't start by clicking on their icons.
Regards,
Carlo

Hi,
a live system with current live-boot (but it doesn't matter,
live-initramfs doesn't differ in that regard) has the following default
PATH:
/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/local/games:/usr/games
This default is correct as it is. Also, i can't see why any live systems
shouldn't have a /usr/games or /usr/local/bin directory, i always have
this on any system i've ever build.
Therefore, I think your bug is invalid and hence close it.
Furthermore, if you think above path is wrong, then you'll need to
discuss this with the bash maintainer (as the PATH is set in
/etc/profile), we don't configure stuff, we just put the unmodified
packages together to a bootable image.
Regards,
Daniel
