the question is not if it's possible to use third party sources, but if 
lh should add the update repo for ubuntu automaticaly and by default 
(same as the security updates or volatile are when building debian images).

lacking any knowledge about ubuntu, it would be nice if you could tell, 
if lh should do this (and the bug itself is thus valid), or, if not, we 
should close the bug.
