nice, however, the patch doesn't respect using the cached bootstrap
chroot to generate the system. could you update it?
I took a look at this this morning and the code for that seems to be duplicated in each case. Shall I submit a patch to clean that up first? Also, I noticed that for squashfs and ext2/3 you recreate the .lock file but don't for jffs2 - is that intentional or just a typo?
