you cannot unmount an aufs layer when it's still in use, and in order to
not use it anymore, in our case, you need to unmount it first ->chicken egg.
with re-arranging everything properly, it may could be fixed, but that's
quite a big job (that's why there will be live-initramfs 2.x).
