not knowing cruisecontrol, but if that package is creating a user in the
user range, it's broken and should be fixed to create system users instead.

unrelated to that, i don't excately know off hand why live-initrams has
problems with users that have not 1000 as uid. in case anyone has
insight or patches, be my guest.
