That's one thing I really enjoy about the debian-live framework: things
go where they should under the name they should have.

I'm beginning to realize that most of my "difficulties" are due to my
ignorance of the debian system and how easy it must be for s/o with
more technical ability.

I had already changed the default user that I saw in config/binary
thinking that a would-be intruder would need to discover that first, but
I'll look into changing the password as well. 

Since others are probably going to be concerned about opening their
machine's HDD to the outside world, maybe the FAQ or wiki could say a
word or two about security aspects?
