Bug#476546: confusing use of win32-loader

Package: live-helper
Severity: normal

Hi!

I appreciate your interest in win32-loader, but I find the current use of it
in examples/hooks/win32-loader.sh quite confusing.

Notice that http://goodbye-microsoft.com/pub/debian.exe is a special build
designed to fetch other preinstallation stuff from that site, and a netboot
D-I image from official Debian servers. It doesn't integrate with your CD/DVD
image in any way, and it doesn't provide any added value (other than referring
the user to http://goodbye-microsoft.com/ would provide).

If what you want is using win32-loader to start the Live system, that can be
easily archived with the build shipped in win32-loader package, plus appropiate
win32-loader.ini settings (undocumented, but you can get a few examples from
D-I lenny images). Though, the strings would have to be adjusted at that
point, since win32-loader tells the user she's about to install Debian, not just
start a Live system.
