ldconfig freaks out with bus error [was: lh_build woes]

Hmm. It's a plain vanilla i386 (Pentium M, as far as I remember: I'll
come back with more details when I'm at the box).

Good point. How do I run ldconfig manually whithin an lh instance? Is a
chroot enough?
