Cannot boot to Gnome

Hi all,

I am new to this (and relatively new to Linux) so please forgive me if
this is a dumb question.

I am trying to build a customized Debian Live for myself. I did these
commands, per the Examples Wiki page:

lh_config
lh_config -p gnome-desktop && lh_build

I then run the binary.iso in VirtualBox with no hard disk, 256MB
memory, 8MB video memory, no floppy, no HDD, and CD-ROM mounted to
binary.iso.

Boot screen appears fine. I hit enter to boot.
After about 15 seconds, the BusyBox shell appears.

Immediately before that I see the errors below.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to address this? Thank you in advance.
J
