Hi !
I'm using Debian Etch with live-helper 1.0~a38 and tried to build a
modified Etch-Live-CD:
lh_config \
--distribution etch \
--packages-list kde \
--architecture i386 \
--language de \
--bootappend "locale=de_DE.UTF-8 keyb=de" \
--bootloader syslinux \
--iso-volume "${GL_NAME}_V`echo $GL_VERSION | sed 's/\./-/g'`" \
--iso-application "$GL_NAME Version $GL_VERSION ; ${GL_RELEASE}" \
--iso-publisher "$GL_PUBLISHER $GL_PUBWEB" \
--iso-preparer "$GL_AUTHOR $GL_AUTHWEB" \
--username "$GL_USER" \
--syslinux-timeout 15000
But lh_build breaks after 20 minutes without an error message. The last
messages are:
P: Begin mounting /dev/pts...
mount: devpts-live already mounted or chroot/dev/pts busy
mount: according to mtab, devpts-live is mounted on
/deblive/second/chroot/dev/pts
I also tried out the older live-helper 1.0~a34. The build-proccess
finished without errors. But the livecd boots with error message:
/bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off
The wiki says, for Debian Etch I have to use the
"etch-backports-version" of cdebootstrap. I've added the line
http://www.backports.org/debian etch-backports main
in sources.list, but there is no cdebootstrap inside this repository.
So I used the "original etch cdebootstrap 0.3.15". Maybe this is the
reason for the above-quoted errors?!
Can you give me any hint ?
Regards,
Sebastian H.
