failed etch live image but sid works

Aha look at a mail from Jesse 20071019 this subject line

 [PATCH] lh_binary_syslinux: drop .img off of kernel names so isolinux
will boot

It was about the fact that isolinux dont like that the kernel ended with
a .img

Check the name of your initrd and kernel image.
