Kernel version problem

Hi

I'm triing to use a geode-optimized custom kernel but debian-live
doesn't build a working usb-hdd image (the image doesn't boot and I
get the 'vmlinuz not found' error). Is it mandatory to have a -486 kernel?
I've seen that in the lh_binary phase the only thing that goes wrong
(without blocking the generation of the image) is that at some point a
vmlinuz*-486 is searched....

Cheers

Giorgio
