Casper or live-initramfs seem to fail both in etch and testing



Hi Kel,
   Bingo!
   With your suggestion of loading the ide-generic module it worked 
perfectly.
Actually the loading of the module immediately triggered a message 
"CDROM-Found".
What package should have the responsibility of finding out that there 
was a CDROM and that ide-generic module should be loaded?
