Hello!
I need to build a live CD that has access to a harddisk.
I.e. I need to mount a partition during the boot process of the LiveCD.
I did not find anything useful in the docs /maillist archives.
The problem is: If I write the data to /etc/fstab it will be overwritten
by the ramdisk partitions. Is there a clean/designed way to mount the
harddisk?
Same problem with /etc/network/interfaces. I read on the list to append
LH_BOOTAPPEND="ip=eth0..." which works fine. Nevertheless I would prefer
to set it in the /etc/network/interfaces. Is there a way?
Thanks in advance!
Damian
