unable to download from ftp://live.debian.net

When I try an apt upgrade with ftp://live.debian.net in sources.list, 
it's failing with

PASS failed, server said: Login incorrect

If I try via http://live.debian.net, it's failing with

Err http://live.debian.net unstable/main Packages
   404 Not Found
