But this doesn't fit my bill. I don't want to make

Remember: we are talking of flash memory here, with a
limited life.
I want something a-la Damn Small Linux, but I cannot
import that particular script as the author has not
specified which licence.
Alternatively I'd settle with something a-la Puppy,
but that would probably violate the "dogmas".
I wish to ask developers not to undestimate the
behavious of a memory stick, otherwise who would
consider a live distro on a cd only?
