More bugs in Alioth

Bugs include:
   * Problems with X
   * Problems with using local network names for LIVE_MIRROR
   * Problems ejecting the CD
   * Problems with su
   * Boot errors

This is of course just an index of bugs as we know this is all alpha
software so we can't really complain.

BTW I'm probably the first or second person to use a DLS as an
introduction for a new user as of today.
