I can no longer reproduce this with latest lintian. Is it still an issue?

The lintian does not complain any more about "very-long-line-length-in-source-file" at least for texinfo. I've removed the overrides and now the warnings + pedantic messages are gone. Not sure if the test was removed...but currently this is the most likely theory.
