Bug#968156: False positive for repeated-path-segment
Package: lintian
Version: 2.88.0
Severity: minor
Lintian produces a false-positive pedantic repeated-path-segment tag
for Perl modules that use File::ShareDir (a Perl mechanism to provide
static data files for a Perl module in a location that Perl can find
at runtime across all supported platforms).
Example from a personal package not yet in Debian:
P: docknot: repeated-path-segment share usr/share/perl5/auto/share/module/
P: docknot: repeated-path-segment share usr/share/perl5/auto/share/module/App-DocKnot/
P: docknot: repeated-path-segment share usr/share/perl5/auto/share/module/App-DocKnot/licenses.json
P: docknot: repeated-path-segment share usr/share/perl5/auto/share/module/App-DocKnot/licenses/
P: docknot: repeated-path-segment share usr/share/perl5/auto/share/module/App-DocKnot/licenses/BSD-3-clause-or-GPL-1+
P: docknot: repeated-path-segment share usr/share/perl5/auto/share/module/App-DocKnot/licenses/Expat
P: docknot: repeated-path-segment share usr/share/perl5/auto/share/module/App-DocKnot/licenses/Perl
P: docknot: repeated-path-segment share usr/share/perl5/auto/share/module/App-DocKnot/templates/
P: docknot: repeated-path-segment share usr/share/perl5/auto/share/module/App-DocKnot/templates/readme-md.tmpl
P: docknot: repeated-path-segment share usr/share/perl5/auto/share/module/App-DocKnot/templates/readme.tmpl
P: docknot: repeated-path-segment share usr/share/perl5/auto/share/module/App-DocKnot/templates/thread.tmpl
