The links Dpkg now disallows were removed from the three Lintian
tests, but our CI pipeline still fails.

Why did you lower the severity instead of releasing a fix?

If version 1.20.3 progresses to testing, Lintian loses its last
functioning CI pipeline. (Our stable-bpo pipeline is optional with a
reduced test set.)
