Classification tags are now enabled for all tests. Details are in

    https://salsa.debian.org/lintian/lintian/commit/0a5668a89c3381bd9495c03cd2636175aec7997a

and many surrounding commits. The tags are not triggering (or not
being shown). The ubuntu profile can suppress tags, but that does not
seem to be the case here. I'll have to update my Ubuntu chroot and
take a look.

At this point, no. It would be unusual, however, for such a
malfunction to present only in a general false-positive test
('odd-inputs'). Most tests are specific to a particular check (and
only run that check). They should show more specific failures. The
affected checks are deb-format, control-files, and fields/vcs. Do you
see any other test failures in
debian/test-out/eval/tags/checks/$check?

The missing tag no-ctrl-scripts from the control-files check, in
particular, looks like it could have been caused by the more recent

    https://salsa.debian.org/lintian/lintian/commit/767d86920c6213a255d0025d07dcdf34bdede6e5

Are you sure the tag no-ctrl-scripts did in fact disappear prior to
version 2.53 (which is when that commit was released)?

Thank you for the information. It will be helpful when tracking down
the issues raised.
