Bug#951136: lintian: handle filenames with \ properly

Package: lintian
Version: 2.51.0
Severity: normal

Hi,

lintian whines badly about filenames containing \:

E: open-vm-tools-desktop: md5sums-lists-nonexistent-file lib/systemd/system/run-vmblock\x2dfuse.mount
W: open-vm-tools-desktop: file-missing-in-md5sums lib/systemd/system/run-vmblock\\x2dfuse.mount

See https://salsa.debian.org/vmware-packaging-team/pkg-open-vm-tools/-/jobs/540252
for a log.

The current output in the md5sums file is the result of
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=843163 - having the
appropriate support in lintian would be really nice.

Thanks,

Bernd
