Package: lintian
Version: 2.61.0
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

on my privoxy 3.0.28-2 package lintian reports the following two
errors several times:

I: privoxy source: unused-file-paragraph-in-dep5-copyright paragraph at line 19
I: privoxy source: wildcard-matches-nothing-in-dep5-copyright pcre/* (paragraph at line 39)

on different line numbers.
I didn't understand this, since all mentioned lines only contain file
names, that do exist, but then I had a look into the orig.tar.gz file
and there is the root cause:

$ tar tfz privoxy_3.0.28.orig.tar.gz | head
privoxy-3.0.28-stable/./acconfig.h
privoxy-3.0.28-stable/./actionlist.h
privoxy-3.0.28-stable/./actions.c
privoxy-3.0.28-stable/./actions.h
privoxy-3.0.28-stable/./AUTHORS
privoxy-3.0.28-stable/./cgi.c
...

The /./ in the filename (don't ask me, why upstream builds the tar.gz
that way, but I don't like to repack orig.tar.gz, especially because
this would break the upstream signature) annoys lintian.

If I try the same with a repacked orig.tar.gz (without /./), the above
error messages disappear.

It would be great, if you could fix lintian to ignore the /./ in the
path for dep5-copyright file matching.

Greetings
Roland
