It think your package does not comply with Debian policy. The Linux
Filesystem Hierarchy Standard [1] allows using /opt [1], although I
would just move all files to the correct locations and set links if
necessary. There a is 'dh' file for links.

As an alternative. you could maybe use a custom profile like the one
attached. The package pkg-js-tools [2] can help you figure out where
to install it and how to use it. It may need some tweaking. I don't
use custom profiles personally.

Finally, Lintian is group maintained. It would be best to copy the
mailing list on your responses unless the contents are confidential.
