Bug#895574: lintian: binary-compiled-with-profiling-enabled test fails on Ubuntu's armhf
Source: lintian
Version: 2.5.81
Ubuntu runs its autopkgtests for all of its supported architectures.
One of lintian's tests (binary-compiled-with-profiling-enabled) fails
when the autopkgtest is run on armhf.
armhf is a bit different than the other Ubuntu architectures because
it uses a different kind of virtualization (sorry I don't remember the
details); not sure if that's relevant here or not.
You can see the test failures at
http://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/packages/l/lintian/bionic/armhf
I'm letting you know that this issue prevents Ubuntu from being able
to automatically sync lintian, but instead we need to maintain a
manual diff. See http://ubuntudiff.debian.net/?query=-FPackage+lintian
Thanks,
Jeremy Bicha
