Package: lintian Version: 2.5.109 Severity: minor Tags: patch Hi, The Lintian test suite identified a potential false negative for the tag 'multi-arch-same-package-has-arch-specific-overrides' when the value of the Architecture: field in 'debian/control' does not match the extension of the lintian-override file. Both fields could be architecture wildcards. A positive finding should take place when the latter is a subset of the former. Attached please find a patch fixing the issue. To reproduce, please manually change both package architectures in the test 'fields-multi-arch-same-package-has-arch-specific-overrides' to Architecture: any (in the file 'debian/debian/control.in'). The tag 'multi-arch-same-package-has-arch-specific-overrides' should disappear. To assist the developers, I will also file a merge request on salsa with a commit message that references the assigned bug number. Thank you! Best regards, FelixAttachment: fix-false-negative.patch.xz
