Package: lintian Severity: wishlist According to Debian Policy section 12.5: https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-docs.html#s-copyrightfile Packages in the contrib or non-free archive areas should state in the copyright file that the package is not part of the Debian distribution and briefly explain why. For packages in contrib/non-free that have a copyright-format 1.0 debian/copyright file, please check that there is a Disclaimer or Comment header that contains the phrase "not part of Debian". This check should probably be marked as experimental and info level severity. Here is a package that recently gained one such header: http://metadata.ftp-master.debian.org/changelogs/non-free/e/edk2/unstable_copyright Here is a package that does not have a header. http://metadata.ftp-master.debian.org/changelogs/contrib/t/torbrowser-launcher/unstable_copyright -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWiseAttachment: signature.asc
