OK, simply adding the '*' made the override work

Thanks for pointing this out

I had simply been referring to this page:

https://lintian.debian.org/manual/section-2.4.html

It wasn't obvious to me about the help text/wildcard, I don't think I
saw this situation before, maybe it would be good to add this to the
examples in the manual.
