Package: lintian
Version: 2.5.20
Severity: wishlist

Hi Lintian maintainers,

Please allow a little margin in order to ignore time stamp in the (near)
future: upstream may not build their tarball in a UTC-aware machine, and
have a few hours off the clock.

Those warnings then fill up the screen and may actually hide an actually
relevant issue.

Regards

David

dpkg now builds debs with a normalized mtime, so this problem should no
longer occur (in Stretch and newer).

Thanks,
