init.d-script-missing-lsb-description is quite useless to fullfil. As
stated in the description of this lintian informational message, there
is nothing making use of this description field. On the wiki, the
example shows how futile such a field is:
# Short-Description: Start daemon at boot time
# Description: Enable service provided by daemon.
On my system, I have:
- 44 with a complete long description
- 32 with a one-line trivial long description
- 13 with an empty long description
- 37 without a long description at all
This lintian message just pushes people to do two things (IMO):
- not use "-i" since it adds noise
- provide trivial long description or empty ones
