Package: lintian
Severity: wishlist

It would be nice if lintian could automatically find the relevant
.changes/.dsc/.deb files based on debian/{control,changelog}. This
would make it easier to run lintian from a just-built source tree.

I wonder if this functionality should be a part of dpkg-dev, since
dpkg-buildpackage seems to know the names of the right files, and then
lintian should just make use of it via libdpkg-perl?
