Ubuntu packages

Dear Lintian maintainers,

I am sorry to bother you with something I am sure is a trivial issue: I
run a debian (unstable) system and sometimes build packages for a
launchpad repository. Now, when running

debuild -S -sa

I get the lintian error

E: *package* changes: bad-distribution-in-changes-file trusty

which unfortunately leads to a fatal error in the package building process.

I can avoid this with the option --no-lintian, but this is obviously no
desirable solution. Could you please tell me, how I can solve this problem?

Best regards,

Benjamin

FWIW, I have been searching the internet for hours now, to no avail. The
information I need might not be at a prominent enough place in the
documentation. I have read:

https://wiki.debian.org/Lintian/Vendors
https://wiki.debian.org/Lintian/Spec/VendorCustomization
https://lintian.debian.org/manual/section-2.6.html
