I am split between fixing the code (making it use "strings" and running
it in a check) vs just dropping it, given it hasn't worked for at least
2 years (and likely more).
AFAICT binaries compressed with UPX trigger statically-linked-binary,
which should be enough to gain attention of most maintainers.
But OTOH I'm curious if we have any UPX-compressed binaries currently in
the archive. ;>
