Package: lintian
Version: 2.5.31
Severity: wishlist

Packages in the Debian archive should never ship files in
/etc/apt/preferences. (Personal packages may choose to do so, but
official Debian packages should not.)

Please consider adding a Lintian error for shipping files in
/etc/apt/preferences.

(No package in the archive currently does so.)
