Bug#747238: lintian: please warn user when in debian/copyright is used a not standard license shortname
Package: lintian
Version: 2.5.22ubuntu1
Severity: wishlist
Dear Maintainer,
it could be great if lintian can also check whether the license shortname is
standard as descripend in DEP-5 or no.
For instance, I may want get a Pedanting tag if I use BSD-3
instead of BSD-3-clause...
Best,
Leo.
