Back in 2006, a discussion and poll were help in the Debian community to determine the most appropriate way to handle the Maintainer field in the package metadata for distributions derived from Debian. It has been voted and agreed to change the Maintainer field in the packages (across the board), but credit the original (Debian) maintainer in the XSBC-Original_Maintainer field. Please add this field to Ubuntu profile.
