package: lintian severity: normal version: 2.5.4 With the move to /run [0], /tmp now gets mounted in ram as a tmpfs by default. Being in ram of course means that there is rather limited space, and for certain packages, lintian needs a whole lot of it. For example, I'm running into problems because of this with chromium in particular. Manual usage of TMPDIR is of course an option, but it would be more ideal if lintian's default tmpdir was not so limited. This could be perhaps /var/tmp, which is on disk according to the FHS. Best wishes, Mike [0] http://wiki.debian.org/ReleaseGoals/RunDirectory
