Package: lintian Severity: wishlist It would be nice to have some examples for third-party checks. As an example, for the last few uploads I forgot to add debian/upstream files and I would like to remind myself for future uploads that they are missing. This is obviously not yet suitable for an in-lintian test so I would like to implement it as a third-party check and simple examples of this sort of thing would help. Checking for a specific file being present or not, checking for specific fields in debian/control, simple examples of that sort of thing would be helpful. Section 3.3 of the manual is a good reference but it needs simple and complete examples. http://wiki.debian.org/debian/upstream http://wiki.debian.org/UpstreamMetadata -- bye, pabs http://wiki.debian.org/PaulWiseAttachment: signature.asc
