Bug#661003: lintian: false positive on package-contains-broken-symlink pointing to /bin/true

My package nullmailer has a dummy command (provided for compatibility
with other mail-transport-agent packages) that is symlinked to /bin/true.
The experimental "package-contains-broken-symlink" check reports that
this symlink is broken. AIUI /bin/true is Essential: yes so will always
be present, even though not in my direct dependencies.
Is it worth adding Essential packages to the list of targets this check
assumes to be present ?
