Hi,

I see no grouping in any of the patches in the messages #20, #25, #30.
While I now notice that message #30 says:
 "This time using group and $1 for submatching"

the patch does not appear to have it afaict.

So, can you send me a corrected incremental patch on top of what we
already have?

I dout that will happen in practise.  But yeah, lets get this right.  :)
