Hi lintian folks -- i'm on the fonts packaging team, which is also
responsible for fontforge. fontforge-nox does indeed provide
/usr/bin/fontforge, which we expect to behave the same as X11-capable
fontforge with respect to scripts. So the pending fix looks correct.
FWIW, 2.5.5 (without the fix) shows the following funny situation of a
package which provides its own interpreter triggering an error about a
missing self-dependency:
