Hello I'm the author of Config::Model and the Dep-5 model. I'll try so bring some light to the questions you are raising. The following (probably truncated) error message: Configuration item 'Files:"*" License short_name' has a wrong value: license GPL-2+ is not declared in main License section. Expected ... refers to "License specifications/short name" of DEP-5. In this case, config- edit could not find the relevant License field that contains GPL-2+ information. To quote DEP5: "This information must still be included in the License field, either in a stand-alone license paragraph or in the relevant files paragraph." To be sure of where is the error, I need to see the whole copyright file. Jari could you show us the whole file ?
