Well, my understanding is that you're not supposed to use compat level 8
yet because it's not finalized and might still change, but that may be an
erroneous impression gleaned from a misunderstanding of the debhelper
changelog entries.  Hm, I guess the changelog doesn't exactly say that,
just says that it's experimental.
